Bound to be a crowd-pleaser at this year’s Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH), the Cartier Skeleton Pocket Watch flawlessly blend traditional savoir-faire with contemporary craftsmanship.
Inspired by Cartier’s pocket watches from the 1930s, the skeletonized pocket watch is a sublime piece of art. Powered by Cablibre 9436 MC Renaud et Papi hand-winding movement, the 59mm art piece plays host to a perpetual calendar, a monopusher chronograph and a tourbillon, the latter revealed from both sides of the watch.
Operations such as "start, stop and reset" are navigated by way of a single pusher. Hand-bevelled Roman numerals frame the dial, while a magnificent sapphire cabochon adorns the white gold crown.
Offered in a limited edition of 10, the pocket watch comes with a rock crystal and obsidian stand, a white gold chain and a fob.
