Italy
has traditionally been a source of special yachts. The mild and
pleasant climate of the Mediterranean sea makes it easy to create
exceptionally elegant and refined vessels, like the Azimut 100.
In case of the Azimut however, a flying red carpet may be a better comparison. The sleek lines of this beautiful Italian machine leave no doubt that it's always ready to carve through the waves like a predatory fish. The yacht's top speed is around 29 knots (around 33 mph), a speed which is considered quite quick on the open water.
With her dominant flying bridge, the Azimut's lines radiate elegance. The interior features light and dark earthy tones for a stunning contrast. The captain's suite utilizes the full width of the 30-meter long yacht, and boasts generously sized windows with a view over the maritime world. The cut and design of this area are more reminiscent of a tasteful luxury hotel room than a "cabin."
Enthusiastic vacation skippers will find themselves at home in one of the cockpit-like stations on the bridge, everyone else will likely prefer the comfortable salon with its comfortable sofa landscape and generous dining area.
Like so many other South European yachts of its class, the Azimut 100 is constructed so that the crew of four can move more or less invisibly on board. Part of this design is a professional kitchen capable of serving up to ten guests. The yacht is also fitted with two jet skis in the rear garage. The obligatory jacuzzi and sun decks need not be mentioned - no example of a yacht of this class would dare be without them.
